My wife and I kayaked in and around Kauai on our honeymoon. We''ve been talking about getting one ever since. This blog is stirring that pot back up. I can''t wait to get out again.

Jimmy -- It is a Seaward Gemini. It is their entry level double and was our choice for it''s slightly shorter length (18'' vs 20+ feet for most doubles) which makes it fit in our proposed storage location. We had 19'' maximum to work with. I also considered the similar Seascape Point 5, but many people that I talked to thought Seaward made a better kayak.

It''s well used and we''ll have a little homework to do some gelcoat repairs, but I think it''ll work great for us. I look forward to our first kayak camping trip.
