		<description>If you&#039;&#039;re up for a ~3 hour drive and the roads are open, the loops from the Paradise parking area on Mt Rainier are all worthwhile (or they were last I tried them --~ 8 years ago).  Though much of it is advanced, there&#039;&#039;s some (adventurous) beginner fun to be had there as well.
The various books published by the Mountaineers explained it all pretty well, as I recall.</description>
