A standlight will be moderately tricky because you''ll want to run it at very low power, simply putting a capacitor across won''t do (400mA x 60 seconds = 24Farads!!)

What might work is a ~5V supercap with a (Schottky?) diode in series that powers a single extra LED. The diode protects the supercap from back voltage, plus stops the supercap trying to feed the whole light when the dyno isn''t running. Set up right you should be able to get 50mA for 60s without too much hassle.
